ご自宅には、まさにイングリッシュガーデンと呼ぶにふさわしい素敵なお庭があり、
毎日のようにお庭のお花を摘んで飾っていらっしゃるそうです。

たくさんのお写真も拝見しましたが、どれも本当に素敵で、
お花を日常に取り入れていらっしゃることが伝わってきました！

今回は、日本のいけばながどのようなものなのかを知りたいとのことでご参加くださいました。

1時間のレッスンで、なんと3パターンの作品を制作。それぞれまったく違った表情に仕上がり、
最後はシンプルですっきりとした美しい作品が完成しました。

🌿From an English garden to Japanese ikebana

It was a pleasure to welcome a guest from the UK to my ikebana class!

They have a beautiful English garden at home and told me they pick flowers from their garden almost every day to decorate their home. I had the chance to see many photos of their floral arrangements, and they were truly lovely!

They came to learn more about the Japanese art of ikebana. During our one-hour session, they created three different arrangements, each with its own unique character. Their final piece was especially simple, clean, and elegant.

It was wonderful to see how their creativity came through in each arrangement. Thank you for joining my class, and I hope to welcome you back to Kyoto someday! 💐
