Today, I had the pleasure of being the instructor for an ikebana experience event organized by the Kyoto Rotary Club for international students at the Ikenobo Headquarters.


After guiding the participants from various countries through the birthplace of ikebana, Rokkakudo Temple, and the Ikebana Museum located within the Ikenobo Headquarters,
I conducted an ikebana workshop in the second-floor.

I am grateful for such an opportunity. I hope the participants left with a desire to do ikebana again!


今日は池坊本部にて、京都ロータリー主催の外国人留学生向けいけばな体験の講師をさせていただきました。

色々な国から来られた方々にいけばな発祥地六角堂と池坊本部内にあるいけばなミュージアムをご案内したあと、
2階ホールにていけばな体験を指導させていただきました。

皆様をお見送りしたあと、私のクラスが今までで一番盛り上がっていたとお聞きして、やった甲斐がありました。

こんな機会をいただきありがたく思います。
参加されたみなさんに、またいけばなをやりたい！と思ってもらえたらいいなー。
